MOTO-TRON Engine Covers provide an additional layer of protection for vulnerable OEM engine cases, helping reduce damage from impacts and abrasion during a tip-over or slide. Designed for both street and track use, this 800NK-specific kit combines billet aluminum and reinforced nylon construction with precise fitment and a clean, integrated appearance.

The CFMOTO 800NK shares much of its engine architecture with the KTM 790/890 platform, allowing MOTO-TRON to utilize its reinforced-nylon water-pump cover design for the 800NK. For the clutch and alternator sides, MOTO-TRON developed dedicated CNC-machined billet aluminum covers specifically for the CFMOTO application.

The billet aluminum construction was selected primarily for its premium machined appearance while maintaining the same intended level of secondary engine protection. Combined with the durable reinforced-nylon water-pump cover, the result is a distinctive hybrid protection system designed specifically around the 800NK.

Each component is developed using 3D scanning and digital modeling of the original motorcycle, allowing the covers to closely follow the contours of the OEM engine components for accurate fitment and an integrated appearance.

Installation Note:

• These covers install over the existing OEM engine case covers and water-pump assembly using selected factory mounting points.
  
• Do not remove or loosen more OEM engine case cover bolts than necessary for installation. Removing multiple case bolts at once may disturb the factory cover seal or gasket.
  
• When possible, remove and replace one mounting bolt at a time during installation.
  Always refer to the motorcycle manufacturer’s service manual for the correct engine case cover bolt torque specifications and tightening sequence.
  
• Do not rely on generic torque values. Torque requirements may vary by engine cover location, bolt size, and fastener type.
  
• Ensure each MOTO-TRON cover is fully seated and properly aligned before final tightening.
  
• Do not overtighten mounting hardware. Excessive torque may damage the engine case, threads, mounting hardware, or protective cover.
  
• If any OEM gasket or seal is disturbed during installation, inspect and service it according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s recommendations before operating the motorcycle.
  
• After installation, verify that the covers do not interfere with controls, exhaust components, hoses, coolant lines, wiring, or other moving or heat-sensitive components.
  
• Recheck all mounting hardware after the first ride or heat cycle and periodically thereafter as part of normal motorcycle inspection and maintenance.
  
• Engine case mounting procedures vary by motorcycle. When in doubt, installation should be performed by a qualified motorcycle technician using the applicable factory service information.
